What types of therapy do the providers use?
Our licensed therapists offer Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). They may also utilize Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and other techniques depending on the needs of the client. However, as this service is considered short-term counselling the main type of therapy utilized will be SFBT.

How will I know if therapy is working for me?
Progress around therapy may look different for each client. This may be changes in mood, thoughts, feelings, relationships, or movement towards a particular goal. It is truly subjective for everyone.
If applicable, you will walk away with a relevant list of resources from our licensed therapists at the end of your three sessions.
Note: Being in therapy does not mean you will feel better right away. It is an intentional process; you will truly get back what you put into it. The more committed you are the better your results.
